The Yalgoo Poll Hereford Stud was founded in 1949 by Jock Nivison with the purchase of Hereford cows from Lilburn and Fernhill, and Poll Herefords from Kildrummie, Milton Park, Moreduval and Vesta. For over 40 years we have been a prominent breeder and exhibitor at regional and royal shows. We currently show and sell stud bulls at the Sydney Royal Show & Sale and at the National Poll Hereford Show & Sale at Dubbo.

We have private on property bull Sales from August 2007 (depending on availability). Please contact us after then to arrange an inspection.
We exhibit and sell stud bulls each year at Sydney Royal Show & Sale held from 15th April 2007and at the National Poll Hereford Show & Sale, Dubbo held 4th 7 5th June 2007. We also conduct an on property female sale at intervals.
